OUR WONDERFUL WORLD

Genesis 9 : 13-16

I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the

covenant between me and the earth. When I bring clouds over the

earth and the rainbow is seen in the clouds, I will remember my

covenant that is between me and you and every living creature

of all flesh;

Living by the sea, I sometimes, after rainfall, catch sight of a beautiful 

rainbow just like this one, so awesome that I am always caught

by surprise, stopping whatever I am doing and just standing still,

gaping at this vision, a wonderful part of our natural world but also

a glimpse of heaven.
