Nagasaki, Japan, is familiar to us today as the city on which the second atomic bomb dropped in 1945 killing hundreds of thousands of people. Three and a half centuries before that, twenty-six martyrs of Japan were crucified on a hill, now known as Holy Mountain, overlooking Nagasaki.
