Commentary on the Gospel of
Good and evil is seen as life and death. Our good deeds lead us to life, our sins, to death. But with Jesus change or repentance is always possible. He does not hold our not so good past against us if we but repent with a sincere heart. We must treat everyone with respect not just externally but also in our hearts. We must not hold grudges or anything else against another person. Before we approach the altar of God we must set our own house in order.
