Commentary on the Gospel of
To you glory and praise for evermore – we hear in the biblical hymn of three young men in the fiery furnace. Some could consider them crazy. It was so easy to save their lives. It was enough to bow down before the statue of the king. However, there are higher values. Betraying them has consequences for all eternity. Therefore, they refused to the king and put all his trust in God. Faith is not only declarations but trust in God and act. Maybe not at this moment, but one day we will give a witness to our Lord. But today, am I sufficiently take care about my relationship with God, do I approach to him to draw a strength to live the faith?
