Commentary on the Gospel of
Mary is the pride and joy of the human race. She magnified the glory of God. Her song was not for herself but for God who has done great things for the lowly. Mary was blessed among all human beings not because of what she has done but because of what God has done to her and her kind. So for us who are lowly like her, we have hope that God will be glorified by doing His will for us.
