Commentary on the Gospel of
Jesus did not proclaim the kingdom of God with words but also with works — mighty works, like healing the man with unclean spirit. By healing the man, Jesus did not only demonstrate his authority but also the awesome power of the Kingdom over evil. If we are in the Kingdom and the Kingdom is in us, we will be able to do mighty deeds as well that would even amaze us. We will have that authority coming from God who certainly reigns.
