We need to keep our eyes open to observe God’s law. There are times in life in which temptations are strong and it may seem that we will find happiness if we give in to them. The Gospel reminds us that to observe fasting, prayer and good works helps us to gain salvation. Through Jesus we come to know the Father and strengthen our relationship with him.
