Commentary on the Gospel of
Ten men were healed, but only one returned and thanked Jesus for healing him. Gratitude is one virtue of a Christian. When we are thankful, we shift our attention from ourselves to others. The nine others were intent in doing what they set out to do that they lost sight of the wonderful thing that had happened to them, and of Jesus who made it possible. Open your eyes and see the wonders around you, and pause for a while to thank the Lord.
