Commentary on the Gospel of
Now, Zechariah speaks. What a fitting reflection on the day before Christmas. We have kept silent for a long time; we have been content to being listeners and watchers in our faith. But now let us ask God for the grace that he makes our faith living and active, that he opens our lips to make us pronounce his blessing and goodness. Christmas is a birth—the birth of Jesus in us and through us.
