Why do the innocents suffer? Let us remember today the many innocents aborted and mutilated in their mothers’ wombs, that mercilessly have become their tombs, because of abortions enforced by the state, or of the decisions of those who are supposed to care for them. Let us remember the many baby girls murdered at birth for being born not boys. Let us remember the many infants sold by their parents, beaten and tortured by their supposed protectors. Still, the holy innocents are suffering and dying in our midst.
