Commentary on the Gospel of
Following the reading of yesterday, in today’s Gospel reading we encounter Jesus who heals a leper by his words. He frees him not only from the health challenges but also from the social implications of his ailment. Yet he sends him to show himself to the priest and to offer for his cleansing what Moses prescribed; that will be proof for them.
Jesus is ready to heal and restore our health. Can we make a leap of faith, spare a moment to present ourselves to him, to converse with him?
