Commentary on the Gospel of
Obviously, when the twelve apostles returned from their mission, they were the worse for wear. Jesus told them they needed to rest: to rest and be silent. He himself knew that same need. There are things that never change, despite all the change we see in our world. We all need rest and silence. Rest, the art that animals practice to perfection, is one that we have to learn all over again.
