As usual, the presence of Jesus attracts the poor and needy. Among those who come to him are the friends of the paralytic who manifested extraordinary faith as they wanted Jesus to see their paralyzed friend. Do we make similar efforts to take our sick friends and family members to Jesus? However, Jesus begins the healing from within and later heals the body.
While we pursue physical wellbeing, we must never forget that Jesus wants us to be healthy in heart and body. Constant purification of our minds and hearts can enhance our relationship with God and with our brethren.
